National and Enterprise Earn Top Two Digital Accolades in J.D. Power Travel Website Satisfaction Study

ST. LOUIS (Nov. 20, 2019) – The National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car brands have secured the top two spots in the rental car segment of the J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Travel Website Satisfaction Study. Both brands also scored second and third in the J.D. Power 2019 U.S. Travel App Satisfaction Study in the rental car segment.

Enterprise Holdings, owner of both brands, is focused on providing the right solutions for customers to meet their mobility needs today and in the future. The J.D. Power award reflects the company’s commitment to investing in innovation that enhances the customer experience.

One of the key areas J.D. Power examines within the Travel Website and Travel App studies is the speed of pages/screen loading. Enterprise Holdings’ brands came out on top in that category, with National and Enterprise ranking #1 in website and National #1 in app.

“This recognition by J.D. Power further confirms the results of our commitment to offering new and better tools to make travel easier and more convenient, and we know speed and efficiency is an important part of that,” said Chrissy Taylor, President and Chief Operating Officer, Enterprise Holdings. “Customer service that exceeds expectations has always been our business philosophy – whether we’re serving customers in person or digitally.”

This year marks the first J.D. Power survey of U.S. travelers’ experience with planning, booking, researching policies and information, and managing accounts on rental car websites, a key driver of overall travel satisfaction. National Car Rental, the winner of the website study’s #1 title, excelled in five areas: ease of navigation, overall appearance, range of services/activities and clarity of information provided, as well as speed of pages/screen loading.

The newly-designed National Car Rental website was launched in 2018 on a powerful platform that is mobile friendly, innovative and accessible for “road warriors” and other frequent travelers. The brand also made upgrades to the mobile app last year, improving customers’ experience with reservations, vehicle selection and overall efficiency.
