Enterprise, National and Alamo Car Rental Brands Awarded Top Travel Industry Honors
ST. LOUIS (Nov. 3, 2017) – Enterprise Holdings and its portfolio of brands – Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car – have earned prestigious honors this year as travel partners of choice among corporate customers, travel buyers, and business and leisure travelers.
Most recently, the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and Travel Weekly recognized Enterprise Holdings and its three car rental brands as travel experts and professionals who make lasting, innovative contributions to the travel sector.

At the 2017 ASTA Global Convention this summer, Enterprise Holdings was named Transportation Partner of the Year. Enterprise Holdings’ Jeff Coggin, Assistant Vice President of Travel Agency Sales, also was named Supplier Representative of the Year.
These awards recognize Enterprise Holdings for the lasting impact and service it brings to the travel business. In fact, Enterprise Holdings ranks near the top of the global travel industry, ahead of many airlines and most cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and online travel agencies.

Enterprise’s comprehensive “Rent/Buy/Share” campaign was named a Gold Winner in Travel Weekly’s Campaign-Advertising/Marketing category (Ground Transportation). National’s Premier Selection was a Silver Winner in the Luxury Car Collection category for its selection of upscale vehicles that Emerald Club members can upgrade to on the spot.

- Travel + Leisure’s 2017 World’s Best Awards named all three brands, Enterprise, National and Alamo, in the top five spots for car rental agencies, with National and Enterprise taking the top two spots, respectively.
- Business Travel News ranked National and Enterprise No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in its annual Car Rental Survey for the third straight year. Both brands have dominated the top two positions since the survey’s launch in 2015.
- Money magazine’s Best In Travel 2017 named Alamo and Enterprise the top two Best Car Rental Companies, respectively.
- Enterprise took top honors in both categories at the 2017 TravelAge West WAVE (Western Agents’ Votes of Excellence) Awards. The brand earned Best Travel Agent Support and Highest Client Satisfaction.
