Enterprise, National and Alamo Car Rental Brands Awarded Top Travel Industry Honors

ST. LOUIS (Nov. 3, 2017)Enterprise Holdings and its portfolio of brands – Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car – have earned prestigious honors this year as travel partners of choice among corporate customers, travel buyers, and business and leisure travelers.

Most recently, the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and Travel Weekly recognized Enterprise Holdings and its three car rental brands as travel experts and professionals who make lasting, innovative contributions to the travel sector.

“It’s humbling to see our company being recognized as travel experts who have ultimately made an impact,” said Don Moore, Vice President of Corporate Business for Enterprise Holdings. “It stands as a true testament of our employees’ commitment and dedication to our customers and the travel industry.”

At the 2017 ASTA Global Convention this summer, Enterprise Holdings was named Transportation Partner of the Year. Enterprise Holdings’ Jeff Coggin, Assistant Vice President of Travel Agency Sales, also was named Supplier Representative of the Year.

These awards recognize Enterprise Holdings for the lasting impact and service it brings to the travel business. In fact, Enterprise Holdings ranks near the top of the global travel industry, ahead of many airlines and most cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and online travel agencies.

“We are honored to recognize Enterprise Holdings as the ASTA Transportation Partner Company of the Year,” said Zane Kerby, ASTA’s President and CEO. “Enterprise Holdings clearly understands that travel advisors are an important distribution channel. We thank Enterprise for providing the products and support that help our agents sell more travel.”

In addition, the Enterprise and National brands were both recipients of Travel Weekly magazine’s 2017 Magellan Awards, which recognize the best in the travel industry and acknowledge the accomplishments of outstanding travel professionals.
