Enterprise Rent-A-Car Opening New Indianapolis Branch Office Along 96th Street’s “Dealership Row”

INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 2, 2017)Enterprise Rent-A-Car is taking customer service and convenience to new levels by opening a state-of-the-art branch office along Indianapolis’ iconic “Dealership Row.”

The 2,780-square-foot Enterprise facility – located at 4310 East 96th Street – is more than double the size of its previous location. In addition, the new branch office is centrally located along “Dealership Row,” offering convenient access to customers who need replacement rentals while their vehicles are being serviced. Hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand is owned and operated by Enterprise Holdings Inc., the world’s largest car rental company. Enterprise Holdings’ portfolio of brands – which also includes National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car – handles more than 70 million transactions worldwide and covers 9,900 fully staffed neighborhood and airport offices in more than 90 countries and territories.

There are now 80 Enterprise, National and Alamo locations – staffed by more than 1200 employees – operating in Indiana alone. “This relocation is especially significant because it once again reinforces our commitment to meeting growing demand for convenient car rental and mobility options, both locally and internationally,” said Paul Evon, Vice President and General Manager for Enterprise Holdings in Indiana.

Local Staffing and Success

The local 4310 East 96th Street office will be operated by 14 employees, including a branch manager and three assistant managers, all of whom participated in the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Management Training Program. The renowned program not only trains college-educated men and women how to run a business and provide excellent customer service, but also how to empower teams and be responsible for profit-and-loss management, local marketing and sales, and logistics.

Enterprise’s promote-from-within culture also encourages long-term career success, allowing employees to move up quickly based on their performance and work ethic. In turn, this contributes to new opportunities for college graduates. And with a breadth of job categories and business functions, Enterprise offers employees the opportunity to change careers without changing companies.

Every year, Enterprise Holdings’ employees in Indiana also generate hundreds of thousands of dollars for the United Way and help sponsor families through The United Christmas service organization. In addition, employees logged more than 500 volunteer hours last year, supporting Meals on Wheels as well as a local pre-school “Snack Pack” project, which required shopping for supplies, delivering snacks and writing personal notes of encouragement to each individual student.

In addition, the Enterprise Holdings Indiana subsidiary has earned six Jack Taylor Founding Values Awards, one of the company’s highest honors – in 2004, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. The award not only recognizes outstanding business achievements but also focuses on areas such as philanthropy, environmental impact, diversity and business ethics.

“It’s an honor to be a part of the Indianapolis business community, and we are proud to contribute to the region’s economic strength and resiliency,” Evon stressed. “And it’s important to remember that Enterprise Holdings is still a family-owned company, so we remain committed to being a strategic business leader on worldwide scale as well as in each individual community we serve.”
