Founding Values

Enterprise Holdings’ founding values and guiding principles together provide a strategic platform for its global corporate responsibility efforts, including donations to UK charities totaling nearly £1.2 million in 2017.

In addition, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation’s program aimed at fighting hunger – called Fill Your Tank – is expanding the work of local food banks, including FareShare in the UK.

As part of the Enterprise 50 Million Tree Pledge, the foundation also is funding the planting of 50 million trees throughout the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, Spain and the U.K. Working with the Woodland Trust, more than 850,000 trees have been planted to date in Scotland, Northwest England, Northern Ireland and Wales.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation also has funded the planting of eight urban roundabouts – including a floral meadow on Sheffield’s Park Square – to make these busy intersections more colorful, calming and ecologically sustainable.
