Shane Behl, who was promoted to chief information officer in late 2022, leads the organization’s information technology (IT) operation. In this role, he is responsible for maintaining and enhancing all global IT platforms. His teams work cross-functionally to deliver powerful technology solutions to improve the customer and employee experiences.
After several years working in IT management consulting, Behl began his career with Enterprise in 2000 as a project manager and was quickly promoted to department manager overseeing the organization’s call center technology platforms.
In 2006, Behl was elevated to a director role and assumed responsibility for Enterprise’s administrative and back-office systems. He was promoted again 2011 to assistant vice president and added additional responsibility for all the organization’s operational systems.
From 2013-22, Behl managed a large global application development team as vice president of technology. Throughout his career, Behl has played a key role in the business’ global expansion strategy and led many acquisition technology integrations.
Behl serves as a board member for Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis. With more than 100 local chapters across the United States, Junior Achievement is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to make smart academic choices, own their economic success and plan for their futures.
Behl earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and master’s degree from Saint Louis University.
