Jo Ann Taylor Kindle

Chairperson, Enterprise Holdings Foundation

As chairperson of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, Jo Ann Taylor Kindle is at the heart of the organization’s charitable giving worldwide. The Foundation has allocated $592 million to registered nonprofits focused on community improvement, education and environmental stewardship—many of which are identified by Enterprise Holdings employees to benefit the communities they serve.

As the daughter of founder Jack Taylor, Taylor Kindle grew up within Enterprise and formally joined the organization as an office manager in 1974. After stepping away in 1977 to focus on raising her two children, Taylor Kindle returned in 1994 to grow the Foundation. In 2019, she was appointed chairperson, a role she has occupied ever since.

In addition to her leadership of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, Taylor Kindle manages additional philanthropic endeavors for the Taylor family, including the Crawford Taylor Foundation, and serves on the Crawford Group board of directors.

Taylor Kindle is also a trustee for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and serves as the campaign chair for Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. She is a former trustee of the Saint Louis Zoo, John Burroughs School and Girl Scouts of Greater St. Louis.
