National Car Rental's "Go Like A Pro" Golf Sweepstakes is a Grand Slam for Golf Fans
Winner Receives VIP Package to the 2014 PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda
ST. LOUIS (April 16, 2014) – National Car Rental, the Official Rental Car of the PGA of America, has launched its third annual “Go Like A Pro” golf sweepstakes. From now until August 15, 2014, golf fans can register daily through National‘s Facebook page for the chance to win a four-person VIP package to the 2014 PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Southampton, Bermuda.
One sweepstakes winner will receive a prize package that includes four Champions Club tickets to the event at Port Royal Golf Course, roundtrip airfare, lodging at the Fairmont Southampton from Oct. 12 to 16, and access to the Welcome Reception and Champions Celebration. Daily instant-win prizes, including 2014 PGA Grand Slam of Golf merchandise, will be awarded to select sweepstakes entrants who play the instant-win putt-putt game.
“Through our partnership with the PGA of America, National is pleased to offer fans the opportunity to experience the 2014 PGA Grand Slam of Golf in person,” said Rob Connors, assistant vice president of brand marketing, National Car Rental. “Many of our business travel customers are golf enthusiasts, and this sweepstakes is a unique way for us to show appreciation for their continued business.”
This year’s “Go Like A Pro” golf sweepstakes also offers golf fans who submit an entry an insider’s look at the National Car Rental PGA ProAm Series, which links nearly 100 ProAm new and existing tournaments nationwide from February through October. The 2011 PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley and his father, PGA Professional Mark Bradley, serve as ambassadors for the Series.
“My father and I are thrilled to partner with National for the inaugural National Car Rental PGA ProAm Series,” said Keegan Bradley. “It’s crucial that we continue to grow interest in the game of golf. National is helping to do that by building excitement around both large events like the Grand Slam of Golf as well as grassroots events like the ProAm Series tournaments.”
“It’s a great pleasure to join with National Car Rental to support the “Go Like A Pro” sweepstakes and ProAm Series,” said PGA President Ted Bishop. “We look forward to welcoming the sweepstakes winner and guests to the 2014 PGA Grand Slam of Golf in October.”
In addition to their daily registration entries, Emerald Club members can earn more sweepstakes entries for each qualifying rental from National. Based upon their membership tier level, members will receive up to 15 additional sweepstakes entries per rental.
National is the Official Rental Car of the PGA Championship and the Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid, and an Official Partner of the 2014 Ryder Cup. Additionally, National is the title sponsor of the National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship.
